Proposition 8




In this editorial cartoon about Proposition 8 you have two supporters of same-sex marriage crossing paths with two missionaries from the Mormon church. I personally find this to be rather entertaining having served a mission myself. For the missionaries to be calling the supporters of same-sex marriage "weirdos" is ironic since most people that are not members of the Mormon church call the missionaries the "weirdos".

In this section we will be covering Proposition 8. We will discuss what Proposition 8 is. There will also be a page on the results, which will be broken down into demographics to see who was more apt to vote yes or no. On that same page we will talk about the aftermath of Proposition 8, the court rulings that followed the passing of this proposition and where California currently stands. Lastly we will conclude with some of the far reaching and lingering effects of Proposition 8.
